David Gelbaum, Chairman of the Board

Since 2002, Mr. Gelbaum has been a private investor. From 1989 until 2002, he performed quantitative modeling for stock price returns and derivative securities for TGS Management, and from 1972 until 1989 he worked at Oakley & Sutton in a similar capacity. Mr. Gelbaum is a trustee of The Quercus Trust.


Peter L. Corsell

Mr. Corsell is CEO and founder of GridPoint, Inc., a leading smart grid company whose software platform benefits electric utilities, consumers and the environment. He is Chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Alternative Energies and serves on a number of boards and committees, including Newsweek’s Global Environment and Leadership Advisory Committee, Xcel Energy’s Smart Grid Advisory Board, the Environmental Media Association’s Corporate Board and the board of directors of Standard Renewable Energy. MIT’s Technology Review magazine has recognized Mr. Corsell as one of the world’s top innovators under age 35 for developing a practical solution to advance the development of a Smart Grid.

Mark O'Neill, CTO

As the CTO, Mr. O’Neill plans and directs research and technology development at Entech Solar. He was co-founder and President of ENTECH. Prior to the founding of ENTECH, he served in a variety of engineering and management positions with E-Systems, Inc., Northrup, Inc., and Lockheed Missiles & Space Company. Mr. O’Neill is a graduate of Notre Dame, with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, and he performed graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama, Huntsville. Mr. O’Neill has authored or co-authored more than 160 technical publications, including a textbook chapter and 15 U.S. Patents for inventions.

David Field

Mr. Field currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Applied Solar, Inc. Prior to joining Applied Solar, Mr. Field was a senior executive at Clark Security Products, the largest independent security distribution company in North America. Previously, he founded and managed several companies in the energy sector. In 2001, Mr. Field founded and was Chief Executive Officer of Clarus Energy Partners, a leading Distributed Generation developer, owner and operator that was acquired by Hunt Power, an affiliate of Dallas-based Hunt Oil, in 2004. Prior to Clarus Energy, Mr. Field co-founded Omaha-based Kiewit Fuels, a renewable energy company specializing in the development of biofuels production. In addition to a career in sustainable energy development, he also has an extensive background in water technology and infrastructure development, with companies such as Bechtel, Peter Kiewit, and Poseidon Resources, as well as in corporate finance with Citicorp. Mr. Field holds a MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
