Since 2002, Mr. Gelbaum has been a private investor. From 1989 until 2002, he performed quantitative modeling for stock price returns and derivative securities for TGS Management, and from 1972 until 1989 he worked at Oakley & Sutton in a similar capacity. Mr. Gelbaum is a trustee of The Quercus Trust.
As the CTO, Mr. O’Neill plans and directs research and technology development at Entech Solar. He was co-founder and President of ENTECH. Prior to the founding of ENTECH, he served in a variety of engineering and management positions with E-Systems, Inc., Northrup, Inc., and Lockheed Missiles & Space Company. Mr. O’Neill is a graduate of Notre Dame, with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, and he performed graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama, Huntsville. Mr. O’Neill has authored or co-authored more than 160 technical publications, including a textbook chapter and 15 U.S. Patents for inventions.
Ms. Hollingsworth has over 25 years’ experience in all aspects of finance, accounting and administration in both private and public companies. She has been with Entech Solar, Inc. since June 2009, including most recently as Director of Financial Reporting. Ms. Hollingsworth will also continue to serve as our Treasurer. From 2007 to 2009, Ms. Hollingsworth was an independent contractor providing finance and accounting services for a variety of companies including Entech Solar, Inc. Ms. Hollingsworth previously served as controller for Holigan Management Group, Inc. from 2004 to 2007. Ms. Hollingsworth holds a BBA from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a certified public accountant in the state of Texas.
On April 7, 2011, the Company's Board of Directors appointed A.J. McDanal, age 62, as Entech Solar’s Chief Operating Officer. Mr. McDanal has over 40 years' experience in the solar industry and has served as the Company's Vice President of Research and Development since January 2008. Prior to serving in this position, Mr. McDanal served for 24 years as Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing of ENTECH, Inc., a company he helped found in 1983 and which was acquired by the Company in January 2008. Mr. McDanal also served as corporate Treasurer for ENTECH, Inc. and oversaw numerous operational and general business matters. Mr. McDanal holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama.
Dr. Walters was co-founder and VP of Corporate Business Development for ENTECH and now serves as VP of Marketing for Entech Solar. Prior to his 35 years in solar energy, Dr. Walters was the Manager of Advanced Technology Systems at E-Systems, Advanced Technology Center, and taught engineering at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Walters has served on Advisory Committees for the U.S. DOE, on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and on the Texas Energy Coordination Council. He received his BS in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, and an MS and Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Williams has extensive photovoltaic systems experience including electrical distribution design of medium and low voltage systems, energy modeling, electricity rate schedule analysis, system costing and economic studies, and an extensive career of implementing actual projects in the ground in nine U.S. states and ten countries. Mr. Williams has been involved in Entech Solar's (formerly WorldWater) deployment of all of the domestic and international flat plate photovoltaic systems since 1998. In previous work at Northern Power Systems, Mr. Williams was part of the design and commissioning of cogeneration systems as well as other renewable generation systems. Mr. Williams received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark College of Engineering, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He holds Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma certificates from Villanova University and has one U.S. Patent.
