David Gelbaum, CEO

Since 2002, Mr. Gelbaum has been a private investor. From 1989 until 2002, he performed quantitative modeling for stock price returns and derivative securities for TGS Management, and from 1972 until 1989 he worked at Oakley & Sutton in a similar capacity. Mr. Gelbaum is a trustee of The Quercus Trust.

Sandy Martin, CFO

As Chief Financial Officer, Sandy Martin brings over 25 years of financial management experience. Sandy is a CPA and has significant expertise in SEC filings, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations. Sandy was previously Vice President, Investor Relations for Sally Beauty Holdings; Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for Pier 1 Imports; and a Senior Auditor with Touché Ross. She earned an MBA from the M.J. Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Sean Rooney, COO

As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Rooney is responsible for all manufacturing operations as well as the Company's EPC business. He joined the Company as VP of EPC Operations, where he successfully oversaw the completion of 6 megawatts of solar installations. Prior to joining WorldWater & Solar in 2008, Mr. Rooney had over 18 years of engineering and construction experience in the Petrochemical, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industries working for Brown and Root, Kvaerner, and Fluor. His expertise includes project feasibility, pre-project planning, development and analysis of project delivery options, project set-up, operations, and client relations. Mr. Rooney received a BS in Construction Management from Texas A&M University.

Mark O'Neill, CTO

As the CTO, Mr. O’Neill plans and directs research and technology development at Entech Solar. He was co-founder and President of ENTECH. Prior to the founding of ENTECH, he served in a variety of engineering and management positions with E-Systems, Inc., Northrup, Inc., and Lockheed Missiles & Space Company. Mr. O’Neill is a graduate of Notre Dame, with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, and he performed graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama, Huntsville. Mr. O’Neill has authored or co-authored more than 160 technical publications, including a textbook chapter and 15 U.S. Patents for inventions.

Lee Laurendeau, VP of Applications Engineering

Prior to joining WorldWater & Solar Technologies, Mr. Laurendeau was a Six Sigma Black Belt Consultant to Westinghouse Nuclear Energy in Monroeville, PA. Mr. Laurendeau has over 20 years of engineering and management experience working for companies such as ICG Commerce, Kulicke & Soffa Industries, Lockheed Martin Astro Space and General Electric. Mr. Laurendeau has a Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University, an MS in Engineering Management from NJIT and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Robert Walters, VP of Marketing

Dr. Walters was co-founder and VP of Corporate Business Development for ENTECH and now serves as VP of Marketing for Entech Solar. Prior to his 35 years in solar energy, Dr. Walters was the Manager of Advanced Technology Systems at E-Systems, Advanced Technology Center, and taught engineering at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Walters has served on Advisory Committees for the U.S. DOE, on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and on the Texas Energy Coordination Council. He received his BS in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, and an MS and Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
