Tubular skylights capture daylight at the rooftop and deliver that light to the interior space through a reflective tube. Light reflects or bounces down the tube as it makes its way to the room.

At each bounce, some of that light energy is lost. Too many bounces and the light is too dim.
Bounces also mean that light enters the room at steep angles resulting in areas being too light or too dark, creating shadows, glare, and bright spots. Consequently the daylight in your space can change dramatically during the day and throughout the year.

It takes sunlight from any angle through the day and straightens the angle of the light as it goes down the tube.
