ENTECH's SolarRow hardware is designed to provide renewable electrical power with zero emissions for utility-scale applications. The SolarRow is used to provide turn-key utility power plants, which include the power conditioning system and grid interface. The 25 kW SolarRow can be duplicated many times to produce power plant capacities of 100 MW or more. For utility size systems these solar PV power plants offer unmatched performance and economy. ENTECH's PV power plant consists of east-west rows of collector modules. Each row, over 100 m long, contains 72 of ENTECH's fourth generation PV modules. A 100 kW system near Ft. Davis, Texas, provided power to CSW's West Texas Utility (WTU) electrical grid for several years. Another four-row, 100 kW system at the TU Electric (Texas Utilities) Energy Park near Dallas, Texas, provided power to the TU grid for several years. In west Texas and other bright sunlight areas of the world, a four row system provides about 220,000 kWh per year.
